Who We Are

Welcome to Bark.Works! We are a design studio headed by Craig Barker, a Landscape and Environmental Designer, specializing in sustainable land management, drone photography, and videography. With a diverse background in Environmental Design and Landscape Architecture, workshop experience, and academic sustainability programs, Craig brings a unique blend of expertise to our projects, addressing modern issues with modern and sustainable solutions.

 

Craig's deep connection to nature and his upbringing in western Alabama, amidst natural beauty and ecological changes, inspired his passion for sustainable landscape design. Having witnessed the negative impacts of urbanization, droughts, extreme weather events, and human development on our climate and biosphere, he is motivated to use his skills to preserve, protect, and construct landscapes and ecosystems that offer multifaceted solutions to the wicked problems we face today.
